Green Lawn

Today the much anticipated sod arrived. Horray! The empty beds that you see are going to be filled with trees/shrubs/etc. in the spring, and then we'll lay river rock around all of the plantings.

It took several men, most of the morning to get it laid.

This is a view from our back deck. You can see we had them remove all the weeds from the beds, even the ones not on our property. The thistles just drive us crazy! Our plan is to plant a vegetable garden in this particular bed next spring.
