Sir Clark

Today we attended Clark's knighting ceremony at his school.  In the fourth grade every student has to memorize the multiplication tables.  After the student has finished 0-12 he/she is named a knight or lady of the multiplication tables in an elaborate ceremony conducted by Prince I Pal (the principal).  

Before the ceremony started, the children sang their school song:

 

Then they sang a very pretty Christmas song from The Polar Express:

Lastly, they played a song on their recorders which they have been learning how to play for the last few weeks:

Then it was time for the knighting ceremony.  Prince I Pal made his grand entrance:

And stood at the head of the red carpet:

Finally it was Clark's turn:

I think this is a pretty fun thing they do to motivate the children.
