When I was a teenager in Alaska, my father bought us some king crab for our Christmas dinner one year. This tradition lasted until I left for college. As soon as we could afford to continue it, we have been doing so. I mean really, who wouldn't love this tradition? Instead of Christmas day, we had it on New Years Eve this time. At Sam's Club we found some humongous king crab legs for a great price, so we invited Jeff's parents and grandmother over to share the culinary joy.
Then at the late hour of 8pm, we rang in the new year with a few poppers.
