House Update

On December 23rd the insulation company came and blew the insulation into our attic.  They are going to insulate the portion above our garage for free (not normally included) for their portion of the blame.  The builder is going to fix the ceiling soon.  There was a total of 5 cracks before it finally stopped cracking.  Unfortunately the ceiling cracking has been followed by floor cracking.  Because the furnace constantly ran when we didn't have the attic insulated, the wood floors above the main heating duct have been "cooked" which resulted in shrinkage and the seams have cracked open in a few places.  We will need the wood floor people to come and access that situation. It is discouraging and disappointing, BUT..... at the end of the day it is only a house.  At least that is what I keep reminding Jeff and myself.  Our children aren't cracking at the seams - that is positive.
