10 Months Old

Today my baby is 10 months old. She is really growing up so fast. She is so close to walking. She pulls herself up onto everything and then walks along it. She can even stand up alone for just a moment before she carefully lowers herself down. Here is a picture of her standing up in our kitchen:





She loves to climb. She can even climb UP the slide in our backyard. Whoa! She has climbed halfway up our stairs too. Here is a picture of her climbing on some play equiptment on the playground at Blake's school:





Her crawl is very fast - she prefers to crawl on her toes and hands, with her bum up in the air. We think she has developed this crawl because we only have hard floors in our house and it must hurt her to crawl on her knees.



Katie is really into eating now. She prefers to feed herself and has adapted quickly to table foods. She has two ways of telling us she doesn't like something. The first is the head shake:
