Namur and Chocolate

I must say that one of my pet peeves in life is people backing out on me. A few weeks ago, I had thought that I was going on a day trip with several friends. That morning I went to our meeting point and waited, and waited..... nobody. Seems everyone had something come up. When I called Jeff for sympathy, he said, "Well you parents will be here soon and they can't back out on you." Hooray!

Today we went to Namur to walk around the citadel. The citadel was a fortress that was built on the highest point in the area (there aren't a lot of high points anywhere in Belgium) and it is very old.

Later we visited a working monk's abbey and ate lunch in their cafeteria. I love adventures.

Another great thing that my mom and I did was visit the Neuhaus Chocolate Factory. There you can buy chocolates by the kilogram. We bought several varieties and then put together our own boxes to take back to family in the USA.
